1. This device is called "Tesla central screen decoder box",  however it doesn't damage or change Tesla protocol. It just reads protocol from Tesla and display "picture-in-picture" on the map screen, keep Tesla vehicles status part all the time. 

When Tesla OTA, we can press scroll button to hide the "picture-in-picture", then upgrade tesla. When Tesla complete upgrade, we can press scroll button to show it up again.
