1. Some Model Y (Standard Range) made in American Austin factory and German Berlin Factory after 2023.08, there are 2 mixed versions. 

2. New Model Y Juniper Since 2025+ doesn't have frunk button, then it need different cable/harness & extra frunk button. Therefore, only Model Y Juniper, it has two editions also. Pls kindly choose the right edition so that we can send the package with extra button + harness. 

Finally, there are a lot of different options, please write to us about the model and year of your car after you place an order, just to confirm again that you choose correct version (some customers chose a wrong version always).

for Tesla Auto Power Frunk Lift Close Automatically Emergency Cable Testing( we do the testing before ship out the order then default it. Pls don't test it during installation, because it only work when frunk is faulty and can't open.  If test it again and again, it maybe malfunction.

Please Read During Installation:

1. Height adjustment
Adjust the tailgate to the appropriate height, press and hold the tailgate button for 5 seconds, and a long beep indicates that the height setting is successful. When it is opened again, it will open to the set height.

2. Speed adjustment
The tailgate opening and closing speed is divided into 3 gears, with 4 gears by default, 3 gears as the lowest, and 5 gears as the highest. Press and hold the tailgate button, and when you hear the buzzer beep 3 times in a row, it means that the speed setting is successful at gear 3. When you hear the buzzer beep 4 times in a row, it means that the speed setting is successful at gear 4, and so on.

3. Reset
There's a "reset" button on the control box.  Press it once, it will be back to factory setting. Factory setting is the best suitable speed and height. If it's too fast, there's dangers; if it's too slowly, it may not close perfectly. Therefore, we recommend "factory default setting".
